Jeremy Clarkson started off the episode with a review of the Abarth 500 SS, which is a sports version of the Fiat 500. & at the hands of Morse Code fan, The Stig, the Abarth 500 got one of the slowest times on the track.
Some say that he invented November... and that if he had won the championship in Brazil last week-end, there might have been at least one photograph of him without his father gurning at the back of the shot. All we know is... he's called The Stig.
In the news, following last week's controversy, Clarkson made an official apology... for not putting the time of the Porsche GT2 on the board - which was exactly the same as the LP560-4.
Then it was time for the US muscle car special. James May in the Cadillac CTS-V, Jeremy Clarkson in a Corvette ZR-1 & Hammond in a Dodge Challenger SRT8 travel from San Francisco to Bonneville Salt Flats… At the Bonneville Salt Flats, they get try to get the fastest one mile straight drive… with Jeremy breaking the speed record for the fastest production car on the salt flats! & James May who never stopped ranting about his Cadillac…. describing it as the worst car he’s ever driven… finally concludes that it’s the best car in the world! Episode 2 wasn't really as funny as last week's show, but it was definitely very "entertaining."
