This is truly the industry’s best kept secret - the Nokia N97. Everyone knew there was an Nseries touchscreen in the making, but NO ONE had any idea of the specs or the form factor… & here comes the N97. The best way to describe this device would be exactly what Jonas Geust, VP of Nokia Nseries has stated:

“From the desktop to the laptop and now to your pocket, the Nokia N97 is the most powerful, multi-sensory mobile computer in existence”

The Specs
- Tilt form factor with 30º horizontal slide to reveal full QWERTY keyboard.
- 3.5 inch, 360 x 640 (nHD) resolution 'conductive' touch TFT screen (16:9)
- WiFi, 3.5G, quad-band GSM and Bluetooth
- 32GB of internal flash memory
- 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash.
- microSD card slot with support for SDHC cards up to 16GB
- Haptic feedback for screen touches, via general vibra feedback,
- Integrated A-GPS, compass sensor (magnetometer) & accelerometer.
- microUSB jack (USB 2.0 HiSpeed) with USB charging
- 3.5 mm audio jack with TV-Out
- FM radio & transmitter
- 1500 mAh BP-4L battery
- 36h (1.5 days) music playback & 4.5h video playback

YouTube link for high quality video.

So, is this the perfect device… alas no! It still lacks multi-touch or whatever sonar-thingy Nokia have in the making. & then there’s also that 8MP stunner on the Nokia roadmap… But still that’s one small step for a phone but a giant leap for mobilekind… :P
